JAKARTA - Plastic waste has always been a major problem in environmental pollution, both land and sea pollution. Plastic waste poses a serious threat to the environment. Artist Deddy Corbuzier has a way to reduce plastic waste in everyday life.

Deddy Corbuzier realizes the importance of reducing plastic waste plays an important role in the surrounding environment. Awareness to avoid excessive use of plastic is one solution to preserve our beloved earth.

The awareness of Sabrina Chairunnisa's husband to reduce plastic waste began when he helped in the production of a documentary film entitled 'Dangerous Humans: Towards Zero e Missions?' at The Lounge XXI Plaza Senayan.

Deddy expressed his desire to take part because he felt compelled and wanted to voice about the dangers of global warming and climate change. He realized his mistake and tried to reduce plastic straws and paper.

"I started to feel 'outraged at drinking with a straw, the straw is plastic is not true'. The future was destroyed because of my straw," said Deddy Corbuzier, when met on Jl Asia Afrika, Central Jakarta on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

"I threw away the plastic straw, I changed the paper straw, it turned out that the paper cut the wood. I threw away the used straw," he continued.

Deddy feels proud of the emergence of ecopreneurs in Indonesia to overcome the plastic problem.

"I just found out the most important thing about Indonesia. I just found out that in Indonesia there are ecopreneur figures who already have solutions that are never noticed and sometimes the capital is also lacking." he continued.
