The Compact MONSTA X Welcomes Minhyuk Home Military Mandatory

JAKARTA - Minhyuk from the group MONSTA X completed his military service on Thursday, October 3. He served at the 5th Army Division Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi.

Through an official statement released by Starship Entertainment, Minhyuk expressed his relief in completing his duties after almost two years.

During my tenure in the military, I could develop as someone. A valuable time in my life, Minhyuk said on the same day.

"Thank you for the support of MONBEBE (MONSTA X fan group), I was able to complete my task in a physically and mentally healthy condition," he said.

Minhyuk came out a few days after MONSTA X celebrated her 9th year debut but could not celebrate it in person because some members were serving in the military.

"We just celebrated MONBEBE's 9th birthday and even though it was on hiatus because the members were conscripted to the military, I am grateful that MONBEBE is always waiting for us," he said.

"This is also an energy that I know there is a team that I can rely on, thanks to Shownu and Chang Kinyun (IM) who are guarding the team together. Because you guys waited for me for a long time, I will give you good news and greet you with various content," he said.

Minhyuk also held a fan meeting event entitled Let's GO!5rae at the Yes24 Live Hall, South Korea. This event is a gift for fans so that it is free of charge.

On the same day, MONSTA X uploaded a photo of Minhyuk with several members who were on duty in the military, namely Joohoney, Kihyun, and Hyungwon who welcomed Minhyuk's return.

Shownu and IM were also seen in their casual clothes standing among the rest of the members who were still on duty.

"I'm back after completing my job. I fulfilled my promise to come back healthy. Let's start a new journey together?" Minhyuk wrote on MONSTA X's X account.
