Edward Akbar Files Exception And Doesn't Attend Session, KimberlyRIDer: Wasting Time

JAKARTA - Kimberly Border again underwent a divorce trial with Edward Akbar at the Central Jakarta Religious Court, on Wednesday (2/10/2024). The agenda for this trial discussed the exception filed by Edward Akbar, but the actor himself was not present.

"So they said that I shouldn't sue in Central Jakarta, but in South Jakarta according to the ID card address. Even though Edward and I never lived at that address. It (the address of the house) has a friend, it has nothing to do with us at all, just a ride for an ID card," said Kimberly RDer when met at the Central Jakarta Religious Court, on Wednesday (2/10/2024).

According to Kimberly Border, Edward Akbar's exception is not very important because it spends a lot of time on trial. Kimberly said that their divorce could be resolved quickly because Edward had given three divorces.

"It's like making it even more complicated, even though it's really unique," said Kimberly Border.

"He should have done it. He's already refused three of me, I also don't want to come back with him, just move on so that everything is finished quickly, so I can work, he can work. Extended like this is also for what, wasting time really," he added.

Kimberly also emphasized that she did not have any other requests to Edward Akbar, she just wanted the divorce to end quickly. He wants to start a new life with his children soon.

"There's nothing more actually. The other issue is like a secondary. Now the important thing is the process is fast, fast completion, official divorce, so that we both move on, why is it extended. So I can start a new life with the children, he can also start a new life, "he explained.

Meanwhile, the divorce trial for Kimberly Border and Edward Akbar will still continue on October 16, 2024. If Edward Akbar's exception is rejected by the panel of judges, the trial can be continued on the subject matter of their divorce.
