Already In The High Dependence Category On Drugs, Andrew Andika Will Be Rehabilitated

Deputy Head of West Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Teuku Arsya Gaddafi said that based on the BNNP examination of Andrew Andika and the five other suspects, they were in the moderate addiction category.

From that consideration, Andrew Andika along with 5 other suspects will be asked to undergo rehabilitation.

"Earlier, as stated by the Head of Narcotics Unit that all of the 6 people we have secured are based on our regulations to conduct an assessment at the BNNP from the results of the assessment that they are included in the moderate addiction category," said Teuku Arsya Gaddafi at the West Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, October 1.

"So that in the future we will first rehabilitate these 6 people while later we will see further developments from the rehabilitation house," he continued.

Arsya also said that this was the first time Andrew and his five friends were arrested on suspicion of drug abuse.

However, it is said that the dependence of Andrew and his friends on drugs has been categorized quite high.

"Of the 6 that we have secured, this is the first time they have been caught in connection with narcotics abuse and psychotropic substances," he said.

"However, based on the results of their assessment, they are already in the moderate addiction category. This means that their level of dependence on prohibited goods is quite high," he added.

Arsya also said that one of the suspects suspected of being Andrew Andika using drugs was due to family problems.

"One of these suspects is facing a problem (household), recently, then that is one of the reasons he used this (drugs)," he said.
