When Robert Pattinson Dies Suri In Bong Joon Ho's New Film Trailer, Mickey 17

JAKARTA - Warner Bros. released the first trailer for his latest film, Mickey 17. It has been a long time since this film will finally be shown to the public in 2025.

Mickey 17 is adapted from a novel of the same name by Edward Ashton. The film tells the story of Mickey, a man who performs a dangerous mission to colonize an ice planet, until he finally dies and is replaced by another Mickey.

The two-minute trailer features Robert Pattinson as Mickey who lives everyday in space. One day he died, but Mickey's other life began, which later became research material for his colleagues.

In one scene, Mickey was surprised to see Mickey other sleeping beside him. A friend on the climb played by Steven Yeun also asked, 'How does it feel to be dead?'

Mickey 17 was directed by Bong Joon Ho and also played by Steven Yeun, Naomi Akkie, Toni Collette and Mark Ruffalo.

The film has changed its broadcast date repeatedly, before they finally decided to change the release date from March 29, 2024 to January 2025.

Mickey 17 also became Bong Joon Ho's first film after the film Parasite in 2019. The film became the first non-English film to win Best Picture at the Academy Award along with a number of other awards.

This film is also Robert Pattinson's latest work after The Batman in 2022. He is said to be joining the sequel.

The film Mickey 17 will hit theaters on January 31, 2025.
