The results of the participants' writing will be recorded in the form of an anthology book KSGB The Story of an Equatorial Child.

Participants are 30 KGSB member teachers who passed the selection and came from various regions in Indonesia and Timor Leste. The work of the participants in the children's story anthology book will represent every region in Indonesia or their regional origin.

As a speaker, KGSB invited Angela Corine Kennedy, M.Pd, a teacher from SDN 5 Namang Kab. Central Bangka, Bangka Belitung as well as a Beginner and Child Bookwriter. Ruth Andriani, founder of KGSB, explained that the results of this writing training activity will be realized into an anthology book for children aged 6-9 years. Furthermore, the fairy tale book will be given free of charge to dozens of PAUD and SD schools in Indonesia and Timor Leste.

"The challenge to make children's books is not easy, because it is necessary to use simple and easy to understand words, but can still provide knowledge for children. We hope that, through the fairy tale book that will be created later, children will love and know more about the culture of their origin and appreciate the cultural differences that exist," said Ruth when giving a speech at the opening of the training class.

Angela Corine, author of Kiki Si Koki's children's book, explained 'There are several things to avoid when writing children's books such as Billy advice, children's characters but sentences that come out of him are not like children, adults solve problems in the story'.

"I really support the training activities for writing fairy tales from KGSB, especially myself as well as a teacher like these training participants. We can get to know the world by reading. But by writing we can get to know ourselves. So write happily. Happy writing," said Angela, providing motivation to the teacher participants in the training class for writing KGSB fairy tales.

Ruth also expressed hope that the training activities for writing fairy tales held by KGSB would further encourage educators to love writing and reading more as a learning tool for students. The children's storybook, which will be realized from the results of the writing of the teachers, is expected to become one of the teaching media for children.

Class of KGSB Writing is a form of concern for the lack of skinned children's books with themes that raise culture, history, and various local content from different perspectives. Through this activity, KGSB invites educators to continue to improve literacy and get used to doing research by reading a lot of literature that will help enrich the insights in the books they will write together.
