Machica Mochtar's Son Holds Persecution When Arrested After Demonstration Of The 2024 Polkada Bill

JAKARTA - The son of the old singer Machica Mochtar, Muhammad Iqbal Ramadhan, is said to have been found and is currently at the Polda Metro Jaya after previously losing contact after participating in the action against the 2024 Pilkada Bill.

Unfortunately after meeting his son again, Machica found that his son had wounds all over his body.

According to his son, he experienced violence by soldiers such as being kicked in the legs and face until he experienced swelling.

"(My son) was kicked with boots by the army. So my son broke his leg, swollen. Then his nose was kicked, his face was beaten with army shoes," said Machica Mochtar at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday, August 23.

Iqbal admitted to Machica that his injuries had been treated due to bleeding. As a result, he still feels pain in the face.

"It's all swollen and the face is all swollen. But he said it was treated the same, it was cleaned up because it was bleeding, right, it was cleaned up. But he still felt pain in his face," he added.

It is planned that after his son is released by the Polda Metro Jaya, Machica will immediately take his son to the hospital for treatment.

"After this I will probably take my child to Pertamina hospital, because he seems to have beaten his chest," he explained.

Apart from being subjected to violence, Iqbal also admitted that personal items such as wallets, gadgets and ID cards were taken and have not been returned to him.

"Then the bag was confiscated, all the cellphones were taken until now, there was no cellphone back. The bag didn't come back, wallets and so on," he said.
