Dato Sri Shahen Firmly Denies Receiving Flow Of IDR 2.5 Billion Funds From Rea Wiradinata

JAKARTA - The case that dragged the name of the celebgram Rea Wiradinata shows new findings. His statement was about the flow of funds of Rp. 2.5 billion borrowed from lawyer Noverizky Tri Putra and Arif Budiman facing rebuttals.

During the trial, Rea had mentioned that the Rp2.5 billion was given to Dato Sri Shaheen, a Malaysian citizen with the status of the People's Wanted List (DPO) and the Red Notice of the INTERPOL search list. Rea also admitted that she was a representative of Dato Sri Shaheen in Indonesia.

Until finally the statement of rebuttal came out of Dato Sri Shaheen by letter. He denied claims from Rea, calling himself never received Rp2.5 billion.

"I hereby declare that the funds above are completely taken by sister Rea Wiradinata and have never been given to me or returned to me in any form," he said as written in the statement letter received by the media crew, Wednesday, August 21.

Furthermore, Dato Sri Shaheen also denied signing or approving Rea Nurul Rizkia Wiradinata as a representation, dated March 7, 2023, and a statement on July 14, 2023, which was previously used as evidence at the Commercial Court at the Central Jakarta District Court.

"I made this statement consciously without any coercion from any party and to be used as needed," he added.

On the other hand, Noverizky Tri Putra from the start believed that the facts would be open to the evidence and testimonies of the relevant parties.

"Now everything has been proven who actually lied. The truth will be open as it should. He will reap what he is sowing," he said.

As is known, Rea Wiradinata officially bears a bankruptcy status after the Central Jakarta Commercial Court announced it in the mass media on July 5, 2024. In its announcement, the court stated that Rea Wiradinata had been decided to go bankrupt since July 1, 2024, because her peace proposal was rejected by the majority of creditors.
