The Most Memorable 17's Competition For Dennis Adhiswara To Celebrate Indonesian Independence

JAKARTA - Indonesia's 79th Independence Day celebration on August 17, 2024 can be a good momentum for the community. Indonesian actor Dennis Adhiswara shared his story while celebrating the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) in the past.

One of the unique competitions that impressed Dennis was to bite coins from Balinese. "The 17's race that made me the most interesting was the competition to bite coins from Balinese which was given oil," said Dennis, quoted from ANTARA, Friday, August 16.

"Why is it interesting? If you think about it 'how come it's not hygienic, huh?', especially in the world after we experienced this pandemic," he continued.

However, Dennis is grateful that he is still given health to date and has not experienced illness during the race in the past. For him, the celebration of Indonesian Independence has always been a special moment and gives interesting memories, so Dennis often participates in typical competitions celebrating August 17 in his past.

"For me, participating in the 17s (it was fun with the moment) crowded and coincidentally I have a quick hunter nature, I like looking for gifts or looking for quizzes with the hope that I can be as lucky as possible," said Dennis.

Not always lucky, he also lost several times during the competitions. For example, the cooking competition for fried rice because the cooking results did not match the expectations desired.

"The one who lost during the fried rice cooking competition, had no taste," he recalled.

The excitement of the 17th celebration moment is one of the events that should not be missed. Therefore, he continues to support the people around him, especially the children to enjoy the 17th celebration moments while participating in various competitions.

"My patterns must have participated in the competition, three years in a row after the pandemic they continued to participate," he said.
