Ruben Onsu And Sarwendah Are Given One More Chance To Attend The Divorce Session

JAKARTA - Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah's divorce trial was held again at the South Jakarta District Court today, Tuesday, July 30.

Unfortunately, both Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah were not present at the trial again. Where the agenda this time should be the second summons for the defendant.

"Today's agenda is still the second summons for the defendant. However, the defendant was not present," said Tiara Octavia, Ruben Onsu's attorney after the trial, Tuesday, July 30.

Therefore, Tiara said that the panel of judges finally decided to give another opportunity to Ruben and Sarwendah to attend the next trial. "So the panel of judges still provides one chance for the defendant," he added.

If Sarwendah is not present again, the trial will continue without the defendant's presence. "But if later the defendant's next trial is not present, the trial will continue without the presence of the defendant," he continued.

Sarwendah through his attorney, Chris Sam Siwu, said that Sarwendah did not want to attend the trial.

He explained that because he felt that there was nothing to be denied, Sarwendah's legal team decided not to attend the trial.

"This means that if there is no rebuttal from us, we agree, a team of lawyers, we don't think we need to attend," he explained.

"We don't need to be present at the trial because we don't have anything to deny. If there is anything we deny, we will definitely come. But after we study there is nothing we deny, so please process it," he added.
