JAKARTA - Tengku celebrity Jordan Zaky is trusted to be the National Director of Miss Universe Indonesia 2024 which will soon be held.

In the press conference for Miss Universe Indonesia 2024, Jordan, his nickname, explained his reasons for wanting to be involved in this beauty event. He mentioned idealism in himself that he wanted to contribute.

"Indeed, personally I also have a lot of state idealism that I want to convey or include in this program from Miss Universe Indonesia," said Teuku Jordan Zaky in the Karet Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Thursday, July 18.

"And this is an appropriate event or a good tool to socialize what my idealism is for Indonesian culture," he added.

Trusted to be a National Director, Jordan conveyed one of the things that caught his attention at this event was related to body check examinations that would later be carried out on the contestants.

"That's right, it's also our concern. One of the most important concerns is for us to make sure that this year nothing will happen again that has happened beyond their control," explained Teuku Jordan Zaky.

"I'm sure that's also something that's not desirable. And what is certain is that this is a new organization. What we are very concerned about is that it doesn't happen again," he explained.

Jordan explained how he would prevent this from happening, namely registering in more detail regarding the background of officers in the section.

"So, for example, 15 women are like that, right. Who directly touched them, we have to find the data, the biography, his background. I will do it to the implementing organizer team," he explained.

"We will definitely withdraw the profiles, the data and anyone who can be in the area. That's what we have to do. As one of the steps so that the same thing doesn't happen again," he said.

Previously, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Miss Universe Indonesia 2023, Andaria Sarah Dewia or Sarah, was sentenced to 1 year and 4 months in prison in connection with body checking cases and nude photos of finalists. The judge found Sarah guilty of committing an electronic-based sexual assault crime.
