Winner Of Central Jakarta 2024 Favorites Determined To Advance Halal Tourism

JAKARTA - Mochammad Haekal Malik achieved an impressive achievement. This journalist who graduated from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt, was named the Favorite Abang of Central Jakarta 2024, whose election was held Friday (12/7) night at the Auditorium Abdurahman Saleh Building RRI.

On the same occasion, Muhammad Najmi Mafaza Hasan and Callysta Khansa Fathinah were confirmed as Abang-None (Abnon). They will represent Central Jakarta in the competition for the Jakarta Special Region Provincial Level Abang-None.

Bang Haekal's success was greeted with great fanfare by the media considering his profession as a journalist. The author and editor-in-chief at Property &Bank Magazine is known to have studied Bachelor's Education in Sharia Economics at Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt.

As a leading university alumni in Cairo, Egypt who have relations at the Indonesian Embassy and the Middle East region, Moch Haekal Malik is determined to advance the halal tourism sector in Indonesia, especially Central Jakarta.

"We must be diligent in promoting our halal tourism objects abroad by holding tourism exhibitions in the Middle East and its surroundings," said Bang Haekal to the media.

"As a brother of Central Jakarta, I will encourage the development of halal tourism, we must also support the local economy and Indonesia to go to Jakarta, Global City," he continued.

The highlight night or final of the Central Jakarta Abnon election featured 15 finalist pairs who had participated in a series of coaching and training in a one-month quarantine period.

"The 15 pairs are selected from around 200 registrants," explained Head of the Central Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-dept., Wiwik Satriani.

Apart from Faza and Callysta, the jury also appointed Arsyad Ratliff Praamadhi and Karina Moudy Widodo as Deputys I Abnon, Fernando Farrell and Marsya Aqila as Deputy Abnon II. Then, Naufal Yudha Nur Rashid and Azzahra Mayraina Rahmatputri as the winners of Harapan I, Firstyo Dewo Wicaksono and Nadiella Zelma who won Harapan II as well as the pair Mochammad Haekal Malik and Pande Made Nancy Nareswary as the favorite winners.

The Mayor of Central Jakarta, Dhany Sukma, appreciated the election process which resulted in the best pair from the best. Hopefully, those who are selected will be able to make Central Jakarta proud at the DKI Jakarta Provincial level.

"There are still two months to improve and improve it again carefully, so that it can perform optimally and win the provincial-level general champion," said Dhany.

Bang Haekal's success certainly made his parents happy too. Bang Haekal is the second or youngest child of H. Indra Utama, Deputy Chair of the DKI Jaya Education Division 2024-2029.

"He really likes to organize, and is interested in PWI Jaya. He is ready to take part in the Orientation of Membership and Organization (OKK) from PWI Jaya," said H.Indra Utama in a proud tone.

Kesit Budi Handoyo, Chairman of PWI Jaya, appreciated and admitted that he was proud of Bang Haekal's achievements. Young people who work as journalists can also excel and be elected as Favorite Brothers in Central Jakarta.

This senior journalist who is a member of the Monev Team for the Acceleration of Development of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is also happy with the vision and mission of Abang Favorites in Central Jakarta 224. Bang Haekal is determined to proactively introduce halal tourism in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta to tourists from the Middle East, especially in Egypt and its surroundings.
