JAKARTA - Imperial Pictures production house officially released their latest trailer and poster film entitled Kromoleo directed by Anggy Umbara. The plan is for this film to start showing in theaters on August 22.

In the trailer with a duration of approximately two minutes, the audience is presented with flashbacks related to the origin of Kromoleo, which is a group of ghosts carrying corpse coffins, appeared in Majenang Village, Central Java in 1994.

Furthermore, through dialogue in the trailer, this film will also raise the knowledge of rontek swamps, a study that allows a person to live forever, and will not die even if his head is pinched.

Broadly speaking, the film Kromoleo tells the story of a long and tense day in Majenang Village, when Zia (Safira Ratu Sofya) comes from the city to attend her mother's funeral. Even though it has been forbidden to return to the village by her grandfather, Danang (Tio Pakusadewo), Zia is still adamant about wanting to come.

Some, to fulfill her deep curiosity about the loss of her father, Djarot (Cornelio Sunny), mysteriously when Zia was ten. Zia's arrival apparently provoked Kromoleo to appear and terrorize the village.

One by one residents who saw the chromo in person ended up dying tragically. In the midst of Zia's attempts to save herself from finding out the mystery behind the appearance of the chromeo, slowly revealing her dark history of her family, including the relationship between her father and grandfather herself involving bloodshed in the past.

The film was produced by Peter Surya Wijaya and Hartawan Triguna together with the Film Pillars, and is the first collaboration with the Umbara Brothers Film.

Kromoleo also stars a combination of young talents and senior actors, such as Abun Sungkar, Aline Fauziah, Rukman Rosadi, Totos Rasiti, Vonny Anggraini, and Dayu Wijanto.
