Cynthiara Alona Determined As A Suspect In The Case Of Prostitution

JAKARTA - Artist Cynthiara Alona has been named a suspect for an alleged online prostitution case. The case that was handled by Polda Metro Jaya originated from a raid carried out by the police at a hotel in Larangan, Tangerang City, on Tuesday, March 16.

The hotel is used as a place for online prostitution transactions. Cinthiara was detained after being questioned as the owner of Cynthiara Alona.

"Yes, already (the suspect). Due to involvement in the matter of ownership of the hotel rather than the online prostitution raids in Kreo, Tangerang. That is his hotel," said Yusri, Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus when contacted.

Cynthiara Alona's lawyer, Agustinus Nahak, explained that when the hotel was raided, Cynthiara Alona was not there.

"At the time of the raid, Ms. Cyinthiara Alona herself was not present. Meanwhile, the hotel was owned by Ms. Cyinthiara Alona and also managed by her younger brother, Abdul Aziz," Cyhintiara Alona's lawyer Agustinus Nahak told reporters at Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta, Thursday, March 18th.

Cynthiara himself came to Polda Metro Jaya for clarification. However, after being questioned by the police regarding allegations of online prostitution, Agus said that his client was then named a suspect by the police.

"When arrested in the raid, the hotel employee called Mba Cynthiara to come so that at 2.00 am Mba Cynthiara came to Polda Metro Jaya. When he arrived, he was arrested by BAP (investigation report) and finally named a suspect and is currently detained," he said. Agus.

Until now, he is still accompanying the examination of Cynthiara Alona as a suspect. "So why was he arrested? What evidence do the police have? After I meet our own client, we meet with investigators or the Kasat we can explain," said Agus.
