JAKARTA - 7 new Korean dramas will air starting in July. In mid-2024, mystery and political dramas dominate the new series of dramas.

Singer Rain will compete with Kim Haneul in the latest political drama. This is his latest project after finally playing a role as a ghost in the drama Ghost Doctor (2022).

Jang Nara also plays a new drama after getting married last year. This time, he chose Good Doctor, a political drama with Nam Ji Hyun.

Here are 7 new Korean dramas that will air starting July 2024:

Red Swan tells the story of Wan Soo (Kim Haneul), a golfer who has a perfect life by marrying the heir to the Hwain Group. He was appointed Chairman of the Foundation and became a popular person. He has a Doyoon (Rain) as his caretaker who graduated from the police university. Through his guard, Wan Soo began to find out the secret of the Hwain Group. The drama Red Swan is 10 episodes and airs via Disney+ starting July 3.

This drama tells the story of a male dog named Baekgu who is loved by all female dogs in Onghwa Village. Many dogs were born Baekgu and different female dogs, so Onghwa residents intend to sterilize Baekgu. Ja Wang (Jung Sang Hoon) as the head of Onghwa Village has 3 children with Shin Ae (Jeon Hye Bin) and now Shin Ae is pregnant with twins. Villagers also think Ja Wang should be sterilized like Baekgu. This short drama has 2 episodes that air on July 5 and 6.

The drama The Auditors tells the story of Shin Cha Il (Shin Ha Kyun), a leader of the audit team at the JU Construction when their corruption case is underway. So far, he doesn't believe in other people until he has to work with the team including Goo Han Soo (Lee Jung Ha) and Yoon Seo Jin (Jo A Ram). On the other hand, there is Hwang Dae Woong (Jin Goo), deputy chairman of the JU Construction who wants to take the company's throne. This drama will air starting July 6 next on Vidio.

Good Partner tells of Cha Eun Kyeong (Jang Nara), a veteran lawyer at Daejung's firm who handles many divorce cases. In the midst of her busy life, Eun Kyeong has to face her potentially divorced marriage. At the office, she faces Han Yoo Ri (Nam Ji Hyun), a new lawyer who has different traits. Differences in views made them argue a lot. The drama also stars Kim Joon Han and Pyo Ji Hoon to watch starting July 12 at VIU.

The final part of this series continues the story of Hyun Soo (Song Kang) who faces a power stake between monsters and himself as humans. He also faces the Wook (Lee Jin Wook) which is mastered by monsters. Sweet Home 3 will release on July 19 on Netflix.

This drama tells the story of Lee Hong Ju (Kim So Hyun), a woman who works as a producer of an animated program. Out of heartache in the past, he was afraid to fall in love, until he met his first love, Kang Hu Young (Chae Jong Hyeop) for the first time after 10 years. Serendipity's Embrace is 8 episodes and will air starting July 22.

Drama No Way Out tells of a criminal who Kim Kook Ho (Yoo Jae Myung) is released from prison after 13 years, a competition to kill him begins to circulate. Baek Joong Sik (Jo Jin Woong), a detective who has to protect the killer from the public. This drama is also the first appearance of Taiwanese actor Greg Hsu in a Korean drama. No Way Out: The Roulette has 8 episodes airing starting July 31.
