Gru And Minions Return To Action With New Role "Despicable Me 4"

JAKARTA - Seven years later from the first film Despicable Me, Gru and the Minions are back in action in an exciting and daring new era at Despicable Me 4 by Universal Pictures.Gru, an agent of Anti-Villain League (AVL) is back in action with the Minions along with his new role as a father.. In his new role, Gru acts as the head of the family however, also wants to show himself still the best criminal in front of everyone.

When Gru came to his school reunion and met Maxime Le Mal's old friend (Will Ferrel), he found out that Maxime had turned into a criminal with the flagship weapon of an insect squad. Maxime also turned himself into an insect monster that made Gru want to stop Maxime's actions.

The feud caused Gru to move home and change his identity to protect himself and his family. "Despicavble Me 4" gives a lightly wrapped story of actions that everyone is still safe to watch, including children. With a distinctive humor, the film also offers something fresh because it has a new character and new abilities of the Minions that invite laughter. The new voice filler of the film features a fresh new character voiced by Joey King (Bullet Train) as Poppy King (Bullet Train), winner of Emmy Stephen Colbert (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert) as Perryyan and Chloe Fineman (Saturday Night Live) as Patsy. Pierre Coffin returns as the iconic voice of Minion and Oscar nominee Steve Cologan returns as Silas Ramsbottom. Packed with non-stop and full action with typical subversive humor Illumination, Despicable Me 4 directed by one of the Minion creators who is also nominee Oscar Chris Renaud ("Desclicable Me", "The Secret Life of Pets"), and produced by founder and CEO of Illumination Chris Meledandri and Brett Hoffman (executive producer, "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" and "Minions: The Rise of Gru"). The film was jointly directed by Patrick Delage (Sing 2 animated director "Sing" and "The Secret Life of Pets 2"), and the screen was written by the creator of "White Lotus" winner Emmy Mike White, and veteran author of each film "Despicable Me", Ken Daurio. Despicable Me 4 will be simultaneously aired in theaters on July 3, 2024.
