JAKARTA - Celebrity Raffi Ahmad through uploads on his personal Instagram responded to the rejection of the construction of a resort or beach club in the Gunungkidul area, Yogyakarta.

Raffi firmly said that he withdrew from his resort or beach club construction project at the moment when he was performing the pilgrimage.

"I would like to deliver a statement regarding the news that is being discussed by the project in Gunungkidul. And hereby I declare that I will withdraw from my involvement in this project," said Raffi Ahmad as quoted by VOI from his personal Instagram, Wednesday, June 12.

Raffi added that he did this on purpose because he did not want to harm the community around the location of his resort construction and the environment.

"Because for me, whatever I do in my business is mandatory in accordance with the applicable regulations in Indonesia. Especially, it must provide good benefits for all Indonesian people," he said.

Seeing this, Raffi Ahmad's upload was immediately commented on by fellow artists and netizens who appreciated Raffi's quick action in responding to the news.
