Yann Desire Gets Out Of The Seat Of The Blade Film Director, Target Airing 2025

JAKARTA - The film Blade from Marvel Studios has again lost its director. Yann Desire got out of the directorial bench and became the second person to do this.

Previously, Bassam Tariq, who was appointed director, opted out of production in 2022. Launching Variety, Desire's exit was related to a production process that had been delayed for several years.

Apart from directors, the change in scriptwriting has also taken place several times. Michael Green, target Osei-Kuffour, Michael Starrburym, Beau DeMayo, and Nic Pizzolatto, who were originally positioned as writers, were replaced by Eric Pearson.

On the other hand, Marvel has not changed the release date of the Blade film. Since it was announced, the film is scheduled to premiere on November 7, 2025 in theaters.

With Demange out, Marvel will have to find a replacement director soon. Marvel itself is preparing several films according to their calendar such as Deadpool & airing this year.

Then they also prepared Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts, and The Fantastic Four by 2025.

The film Blade was first announced in San Diego Comic-Con in 2019. The film rebooted the classic work Wesley Snipes from 1998 to 2004. The film tells the story of Blade who master the power of vampire without their weaknesses.

Mahersala Ali plays Eric Brooks or Blade in this Marvel adaptation film. Production of the film is planned to start in the middle of this month in Mexico.
