The Double is an adaptation of a web novel titled Marriage of The Di Daughter written by Qian Shan Cha Ke.

The Double tells the story of Xue Fang Fei (Wu Jin Yan), the daughter of a wealthy regional judge who loses everything after a big event.

Rescued by Jiang Li (Yang Chao Yue), daughter of the Secretariat Director. Xue Fang Fei instead took Jiang Li's identity and returned to the capital.

With the help of Xiao Heng (Wang Xing Yue) and others, he overcomes many difficulties, tirelessly fighting against injustice.

All Xue Fang Fei did to save his father, who was jailed unfairly. He also helped Xiao Heng in upholding justice over the case that befell him and protecting the common people.

Xiao Heng does not know the identity of Xue Fang Fei who turned into Jiang Li, nor does Jiang Li who does not fully know about Xiao Heng.

This mystery drama consists of 40 episodes that last 45 minutes. The Double can be watched every day on Youku.
