Donny Alamsyah Combines Match And Mystic Scenes In Sengkolo Film: One Suro Night

JAKARTA - Donny Alamsyah is again filling in Indonesian films by playing in the latest horror film for the production house MVP Pictures entitled Sengkolo: One Suro Night.

In this film, Donny plays Ibrahim. He is a body bearer who lost confidence in God after being left tragically by his wife and children due to black magic.

Hearing Donny's name cannot be separated from his expertise in action scenes. Uniquely, Donny said that in his latest horror film he combined the action with mystical.

"If you say which tiredness, because if you say Sengkolo is not without physical activity, there are still physical activities, there is action too," said Donny Alamsyah at the VOI office, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, June 5.

One of the action scenes he meant was at the end of the film where he had to fight a demon that entered the human body.

In that scene, Donny admitted that he also needed physical resistance which was indirectly an action scene.

"In the ending there is a scene where Ibrahim has to fight the devil, the devil who enters the human is also a physical opponent," he said.

"So if you say tired of action with horror, maybe I don't know yet, it's horror that demons just appear, yes, if there is physical resistance here too, there is action too," he said.
