Lawyer Denies Case Of Alleged Embezzlement Of Funds So Reason For Divorce Tiko Aryawardhana And AW

JAKARTA - Bunga Citra Lestari's husband, Tiko Aryawardhana, was widely discussed after being suspected of embezzling Rp 6.9 billion from a company called PT Arjuna Advaya Sanjaya (AAS) which is engaged in food and beverage.

This was reported directly by Tiko's ex-wife, AW, to the South Jakarta Metro Police since 2022.

"He has been (reported) for a long time in 2022, on July 23, 2022," said AKBP Bintoro, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday, June 4.

On another occasion, AW's attorney, Leo Siregar, explained that this company was built when Tiko and SW were still husband and wife.

"That's right (when he was husband and wife)," said Leo Siregar in a video connection, Tuesday, June 4.

Even so, Leo ensured that the alleged embezzlement of funds was not the cause of Tiko and AW's divorce.

"I've confirmed it, no. It's not related to that," Leo explained.

Now that it has reported the alleged embezzlement of funds, AW hopes that the police can provide justice.

If Tiko is proven guilty of this case, she hopes that her ex-husband can be punished in accordance with the applicable sentence.

"It's still a suspicion, AW himself wants the police to see the case clearly, meaning that there are violations that inevitably want to be processed legally in Indonesia," he said.
