JAKARTA - celebrity Baim Wong through uploads on his personal Instagram vented about his failure to perform the furoda pilgrimage in 2023.

In the upload, Baim was seen uploading a report saying that the police arrested 22 people suspected of defrauding a prospective furoda pilgrimage of Rp. 150 million per person.

Seeing this, Baim Wong tried to clarify the reason he failed Hajj last year which was accused of only being pranked or reluctant to use economic class facilities.

"Sometimes people's perceptions are everywhere, at that time it was said that they didn't want to accept the economic class, I could only be silent. Even though the point problem is not that," wrote Baim Wong, quoted by VOI from his personal Instagram, Monday, June 3.

The first reason he failed to perform the pilgrimage was because he had to look after his wife, Paula Verhoeven, who at that time had to have a miscarriage until she was treated intensively.

Then, another reason was because it turned out that he was deceived by a travel service that did not provide him with a furode visa, even when he was on the plane.

"Besides, I have to look after Paula, the main reason is because the visa is not a furoda. And I just found out on the plane, because the ticket wasn't with me while at the airport," added Baim Wong.

Furthermore, Baim Wong admitted that at that time he could only be silent because he did not want many people to feel the same fate as him.

Now this 43-year-old man can only give advice so that he can be more careful with the promise of Hajj travel.

"If I give a statement, I am afraid that there will be many people who will fail the Hajj because of me. Hopefully now I can understand," explained Baim Wong.

"Now we want to speak up, so that we can be wary in the future. Be careful with travel promises," he said.
