Debut As Producer, Maudy Ayunda Working On Biopic Ki Hadjar Dewantara

JAKARTA - Celebrity Maudy Ayunda debuted as a producer in the biopic film Ki Hadjar Dewantara with the production house Wahan Kreator and will be directed by Gina S. Noer. This film will outline the life story of the hero Ki Hadjar Dewantara.

In a press conference, Maudy Ayunda explained the preparations she made to become a film producer who had entered the stage of research, story development, and textwriting in 2024.

"In preparation, maybe there has been a lot of talk with producers at Wahana Kreator because I know it's still newbie here, for the first time too," said Maudy Ayunda at the Kemendikbudristek office, Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Monday, May 6.

"So actually the approach is actually full of curiosity and many questions with others. And so far the chat that we know is that this film must be collaborative, whatever film it is is very collaborative," he continued.

Furthermore, Maudy Ayunda, who has been amazed by the figure of Ki Hadjar Dewantara for a long time, explained that this film will not only be about education but about the life of a figure.

"So it seems that more than a film about education is also a film about a person's life, about humans and there are many themes that we certainly want to convey," said Maudy Ayunda.

"And especially if it's for me, maybe I want it, actually earlier, Mas Bayu said that young people and future generations can also know this figure and the values and stories can last a long time in front of him," he concluded.
