The Reason Chandrika Chika's Mother Believes Her Daughter Is Not A Drug User

JAKARTA - Celebrity Chandrika Chika had to swallow a bitter pill after he tested positive for marijuana by the South Jakarta Metro Police which made him have to be detained along with five other friends.

On one occasion, Chandrika Chika's parents were seen visiting his daughter in the custody of the South Jakarta Metro Police.

Chika's father, Jusman, said that his daughter was sorry for her actions. He also hopes that his daughter can take lessons from this incident.

"It's really sad that there is a lesson after this, choose friends who can find the right one," said Jusman at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Wednesday, April 24.

Even though he was declared involved, Jusman still denied the police statement regarding Chika, who had been using marijuana since one year ago.

"No, no. That's wrong. Wrong. Wrong. This is just yesterday's incident. There's nothing wrong with that. So if you want to take the news directly from the source," continued Jusman.

He was even told by the Deputy Head of Drug Investigation at the South Jakarta Metro Police that the drugs consumed by Chika were a new type that had just arrived in Indonesia.

"Yes, that's new goods, Mr. Kasat said, new goods from outside. There is no (in Indonesia) yet," he explained.

The belief that her child is innocent is also felt by her mother, Poppy Putry, who feels that her daughter is not a drug addict.

"Never, nothing like that. That's why I don't feel anything about it, because I know my child isn't like that," concluded Poppy Putry.
