Congratulations, Brandon Salim Officially Proposed To Dhika Himawan In Japan

JAKARTA - Happy news came from Ferry Salim's eldest son, Brandon Salim, who officially proposed to his girlfriend, Dhika Himawan in Japan on April 23. Through uploads on his personal Instagram, Brandon tried to tell about the process when he proposed to Dhika.

On February 29, Brandon met Dhika's parents in person to ask for permission to give her the blessing of marrying her boyfriend. Brandon admitted that he was nervous at the time.

"In February 29 2024, I invited Dhika's parents to ask for permission to propose to Dhika. I was nervous," Brandon Salim wrote as quoted by VOI from his personal Instagram, Thursday, April 25.

Furthermore, Brandon said that Dhika had previously planned a vacation with his family to Japan and he would follow, but he was here early to prepare a surprise for his girlfriend.

"Dhika is on vacation with her family from April 19-30. I said she could only follow the 25th! But actually I left on 22 so I could surprise Dhika. I was escorted by my family to the airport," Brandon continued.

After all the preparations were deemed sufficient, Brandon finally proposed to his girlfriend. Uniquely, he proposed to Dhika when he had just finished taking a shower which made them laugh at each other.

"Dhika shared the room with her aunt. So I made an appointment with her aunt when Dhika took a shower, my aunt picked me up in the lobby. I went up, entered the room and stood surprise," he said.

"So when Dhika left the bathroom, I was in the position. Didn't say 'Will you marry me?' We both laughed for 30 minutes, I was stabbed in a dirty shirt and I said, 'Come on!' Finally he said yes!," concluded Brandon Salim.
