Vidi Aldiano's Happiness Can Accompany Sheila Dara Fasting After 2 Years Of Marriage

JAKARTA - Singer Vidi Aldiano is known to be still undergoing treatment for kidney cancer he has had since 2019. It is known that during treatment, Vidi is not advised to fast.

But this year, Vidi was apparently allowed by his doctor to fast. Seeing this, Vidi said that Sheila Dara, his wife, was very enthusiastic about hearing the news.

"From two years ago I married him, he never met together, opened up together. So this is my first time yesterday feeling suhoor and breaking the fast with his wife, he is very happy," said Vidi Aldiano, quoted by VOI from YouTube Starpro, Monday, March 18.

When he got the happy news, Vidi said that Sheila reminded herself that this was their first fasting moment after 2 years of marriage.

"He was the one who was excited at the beginning, he said it was like 'this is the first time you know, during our marriage, we agreed together', that's why. If you break the fast maybe from last year I had a chance to break the fast but it feels different if I also run, I'm very happy," continued Vidi.

Even though he has been given permission to fast, Vidi must continue to monitor his own condition while following the fast in Ramadan this year.

"From the first time it was allowed and it was like seeing the lab results that 'oh, this can't', it's starting to get really touched. But it can't be too happy just yet because you still have to pray fast so that your body remains strong doing this fast," he concluded.
