Oscar Nominations, The Zone Of Interest Will Air In Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Zone of Interest is one of the most talked about films at its release. In terms of various film festivals, this film also received five nominations at the Oscar 2023 event.

Directed by Jonathan Glazer, this film also features the duet of Christian Friedel and Sandra Huller as the main characters. In addition, this film obtained the categories of Best Director, Best Film, Adaptation Scenario, and Best Sound System.

In addition to Oscar, the film also received five BAFTA nominations, one of the prestigious film events in the UK. The Zone of Interest received positive responses from critics to the National Board of Review.

The Zone of Interest has a different point of view from the Nazi family. Set in 1943, this film tells the story of Rudolf H\"oss (Christian Friedel), the commander of the Auschwitz camp who lives with his wife Hedwig (Sandra Huller) with his five children in a house located right next to the camp.

In his daily life, Rudolf tries to make their children live in peace in the midst of a second world war situation. Behind the walls of their lives, wars and shootings occur every day without being heard by the children.

The film was selected as a British representative for Best International Film nominations at the 96th Academy Awards last year.

After a long wait, Klikfilm brought The Zone of Interest to be shown in Indonesian cinemas. The film, which is the result of the cooperation of British, Polish and US production houses, is finally available to the audience.

Meanwhile, the film The Zone of Interest will be released in Indonesian cinemas starting March 6, 2024.
