Teams Allen And Tom Hanks Reveal Disney Contacted For Toy Story 5

JAKARTA - Actors Tim Allen and Tom Hanks are said to be returning to the Toy Story franchise. Allen revealed this news when he appeared on The Tonight Show.

Bobby Iger, Disney leader said it happened and explained it really happened. They contacted Tom and I to return to play the character, "said Tim Allen.

"It looks like it would be interesting to be able to get together again," said Tim Allen.

Tim Allen's statement seemed to confirm the statement made by Bob Iger in February. Iger revealed that the new Toy Story film is in development, along with new Frozen and Zootopia films.

This new Toy Story film is not made spin-off like Lightyear, but focuses on Woody and Buzz's relationship.

Tom Hanks, who voiced Woody, while Tim Allen voiced Buzz Lightyear joined since Toy Story's first film in 1995. The fourth film released in 2019 was a box office surprise.

The Toy Story 4 film earned more than 1 billion during its release in theaters. Unfortunately, a different fate occurred with Lightyear which tells the story behind Buzz Lightyear. When released in 2022, this film received mixed responses from the public.

A few months after the broadcast, the film Lightyear is also available via the Disney+ streaming service.
