Gunawan Dwi Cahyo Denies That Persik Kediri Was Dismissed Because Of The Infidelity Case

JAKARTA - Footballers Gunawan Dwi Cahyo and Okie Agustina are facing their divorce after news circulated of an affair committed by Gunawan some time ago.

Not only facing divorce, Gunawan is also reportedly no longer a defender at Persik Kediri. In this case, Gunawan said that this had become Gunawan's management and relationship with Persik Kediri was fine.

"I respect whatever decision from the management, and my relationship with Persik Kediri has been fine until now," said Gunawan Dwi Cahyo at the Bogor Religious Court, Monday, November 20.

Furthermore, he explained that the coach still wanted Gunawan to continue playing until the end of the season but because he had to face a divorce trial he felt he would interfere with his training schedule.

"And maybe there is big news like this from yesterday the coach still wanted me until the end of the season because I had to go back and forth to Bogor so maybe a lot of permission and maybe a little drop I haven't participated in training for a few days and maybe that's the management's decision," continued Gunawan.

Even so, Gunawan admitted that he was surprised by the management's decision regarding his career in football. But he believes that there will be other sustenance that will be present for him.

"Yes, I'm surprised, it's just that maybe sustenance from Allah if it does stop here, we don't know what will happen in the future?" he said.
