JAKARTA Sijjin, the latest horror film produced by Rapi Films in collaboration with Sky Media and Legacy Pictures will be released and shown in Indonesian cinemas starting November 9, 2023. Adapted from the Turkish box office horror film Sicc sajan, the film Sijjin was directed by Hadrah Daeng Ratu, the scenario was written by Lele Laila, and produced by Gope T. Samtani.

Sijjin tells the story of Irma who falls in love with Galang, her cousin who is married to Nisa and has a daughter named Sofia. Irma, who is still obsessed, then went to the shaman to send witchcraft to Nisa and all the women in the Galang family to die in five nights.

Since then, mystical disturbances,bars, and deaths have emerged in Galang's house. However, what Irma unexpectedly suspected, the threat also targeted him and his family. This film stars a number of young actors, including Anggika Bolsterli, Ibrahim Risyad, Niken Anjani, and Delia Husein.

Niken Anjani, one of the main players, expressed her enthusiasm for welcoming the screening of the film Sijjin. This is my first horror film and of course I am very happy to be part of the film Sijjin. I can say this film is a different horror film, a family drama wrapped in a horror story. Hadrah Daeng Ratu also welcomed the screening of the film Sijjin. "This film is challenging to direct, especially because it is adapted from Turkish films that are quite well known and box office in the country. Of course there are scenes that are adapted to Indonesian audience culture so that they relate to the story. I hope this film can be enjoyed by horror film lovers, and of course many people are watching this film," said Hadrah Daeng Ratu.
