Pedro Pascal And Bella Ramsey Play In The Latest HBO Series, The Last Of Us

JAKARTA - HBO has released two names confirmed to play in the series from the game franchise adaptation, The Last of Us, namely Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.

Pascal and Ramsey are players on HBO's Game of Thrones series but the two are never in the same scene.

Pascal will play Joel, a smuggler assigned to escort Ellie, a 14-year-old woman played by Ramsey to cross the post-apocalyptic United States against zombies. The two players announced the good news through their social media.

The game The Last of Us by Naughty Dog received positive appreciation and even led the nominations in the 2020 Game Awards.

A number of big names have also worked on the adaptation series The Last of Us. The series is directed by Neil Druckmann and Carolyn Strauss who worked on Game of Thrones and Chernobyl.

Then, the pilot series was done by Kantemir Balagov, who won awards at the 2017 and 2019 Cannes Film Festival. The script was also written by Chernobyl creator, Craig Mazin.

Currently, Pedro Pascal is busy with The Mandalorian. The serial production will take place after all the cast has been confirmed.

The adaptation series The Last of Us is the product of HBO, Sony Pictures TV, PlayStation Productions, Word Games, and Naughty Dog.
