Ridho Rhoma Caught By Drugs, Rhoma Irama: Thank You, Police!

JAKARTA - Rhoma Irama said he was surprised when he found out that Ridho Rhoma was again caught in an experiment. I didn't believe it at first, but the massive news made him unable to deny the truth of the news.

"Well, first I heard the news that Ridho was caught again and didn't believe it. Finally the next day I read the news from a reliable source. I was very surprised. What is not clear," said Rhoma when met in Mampang area, South Jakarta, Monday, 8 February.

After getting a call from Ridho, Rhoma could see the problem clearly. Ridho Rhoma was arrested with two of his male friends in an apartment in South Jakarta, Thursday, February 4. At the time of the search, there were 3 items of narcotic ecstasy.

The three of them were taken to the Tanjung Priok Port Police and were examined according to health protocols. After the urine test, of the three people, only Ridho Rhoma was positive for metapetamine and ampetamine.

"Ridho called me crying, basically crying excruciatingly sorry. Sorry Ridho Pa did not meet Papa's expectations. Now Ridho is back at the Tanjung Priok Police because of the accuracy of bringing ampetamine," said Rhoma.

Rhoma said that he already had an agreement with Ridho that he would not interfere if his son returned to dealing with drugs. "I told Ridho when he finished his first" semester one study, "if something happened again Papa wouldn't interfere. You handle it yourself," he explained.

In accordance with the agreement, Rhoma will hold a commitment not to interfere in Ridho Rhoma's legal affairs. "We are committed, yes, if I'm sorry, I will definitely forgive you. Papa is only helping with prayer. Face it, hopefully pass the second semester," he hoped.

Rhoma is even grateful that the police have arrested his son. "I would like to thank the police who have arrested Ridho from the start. As soon as Ridho brought ampetamine he was immediately caught. Imagine if a week and a year he was arrested. Thank you to the police who were quick to arrest him so that he did not drag on using drugs," he said.

Although he admits that he does not want to interfere in Ridho Rhoma's legal affairs, Rhoma will continue to monitor him. "Hopefully you will get a fair treatment. Pasilah, I will continue to monitor, pray. Yes, it's a child," he explained.
