Ravi Ex VIXX And Nafla Sentenced After Being Proven Using A Military Jockey

JAKARTA - Two rappers Ravi and Nafla were sentenced after being proven to be using jockeys to shorten their mandatory military service. On August 10, a Seoul district court sentenced Ravi to two years probation and one year in prison for Nafla.

If Ravi commits a criminal act on probation, he will be sentenced to one year in prison. Ravi was sentenced to two years in prison by the prosecutor's office but in the end he got a lighter sentence.

Ravi is said to have been proven guilty of falsifying his health data in order to avoid military service, while Nafla lied about depression for civilian duty during the military.

Ravi made a scenario according to a conscriptional military broker where he pretended to fall unconscious during a medical examination. In 2021, he applied for a certificate to the Military administration with a diagnosis of epilepsy.

Because of this case, the former VIXX member did a re-examination and was declared fit so he could carry out military duties as an active soldier. The judge also said Ravi had no criminal records before this case.

"Ravi lied about epilepsy in order to avoid military duty and it was a fatal crime, but I consider he has no criminal records and he regrets his actions," the judge told Wikitree.

"I consider the fact that when he is found guilty, he will be retested for active duty," he said.

Meanwhile, Nafla, who was assigned to the military as a public service worker at Seocho-gu, was absent from work for 141 days. He is considered not like a military service under the pretext of declining symptoms of depression.

Because of this case, Ravi chose to leave VIXX and apologized to fans and the public for his actions.
