JAKARTA - Last year, heavy metal supergroup from the United States, Down was expected to return, but the pandemic thwarted their tour plans.

However, during that break the band was planning something new. Drummer Jimmy Bower told Bravewords an album cover was in the works.

"We have to make an album cover immediately, that's the next thing. We are not sure when we will work on it, or what song will be performed ... is just the idea we have, "said Bower.

"I'm sure we all have to come up with this idea. There are already a lot of songs to choose from, some really cool ... There must be some weird ones so I was like, 'Wow, that's going to turn off!'" Bower added.

So far, no further details have been revealed. So, keep an eye on VOI to see what's in this group.

The band's last studio release was the EP (mini album) Down IV - Part II (2014). This group has been inactive for years as its members have focused on other projects.

However, turning 25 in 2020, they regrouped last year with the intention of playing a show before the pandemic strikes.

Down was manned by vocalist Phil Anselmo (Pantera and Superjoint Ritual), guitarist Pepper Keenan (Corrosion of Conformity), guitarist Kirk Windstein (Crowbar), bassist Pat Bruders (Goatwhore), and drummer Jimmy Bower (Crowbar, Eyehategod, and Superjoint Ritual).
