Shadow And Bone, Netflix's Newest Original Series To Air April 23

First appearance of Shadow and Bone (Netflix Indonesia)

JAKARTA - Netflix presents the latest original series entitled Shadow and Bone, which is adapted from the universe of Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo.

Shadow and Bone tells the story of people who are often underestimated but show the opposite. An orphaned soldier named Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li) has extraordinary strength which is a big key.

A threat from the attacking Shadow Fold makes Alina Starkov choose to join an elite magic force called Grisha. Starkov realized that the world was increasingly dominated by evil and they needed magic to fight everything.

Leigh Bardugo was involved as executive producer for Shadow and Bone. "It's amazing to see this story being told on a large scale, both in terms of combat, magic elements, and the relationships between the characters," said Bardugo.

Directed by Lee Toland Krieger, Netflix released the first few looks of Shadow and Bone depicting the story according to what Bardugo wrote.

Not only Jessie Mei Li, Archie Renaux, Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, Kit Young, and Ben Barnes participated in a role in this series.

Shadow and Bone will premiere exclusively on Netflix on April 23, 2021.
