Iko Uwais Becomes Jason Statham's New Opponent In The Expendables 4

JAKARTA - Jason Statham's journey as a group of mercenaries will continue in the new film The Expendables. The first Expend4bles trailer, which was released on Wednesday, June 7, features an old character with several new characters.

The figure of Lee Christmas, played by Statham, meets Gina (Megan Fox), someone who has been a part of Christmas's past. He as a CIA agent will join Lee Christmas for a new mission.

They had a fight before the scene turned to Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) who approached Lee Christmas. The two met Gunner (Dolph Lundgren), Easy (50 Cent), and Marsh (Andy Garcia).

The fight started after the group took the nuclear missile that became the start of the chaos. They tried to stop the acts of terror on cargo ships which turned out to be not an easy mission.

Gina and the group members began to infiltrate the ship. The scene of the fight combined with a fight adds to the intensity of the Expend4bles trailer.

Towards the end of the trailer, Lee Christmas fought Iko Uwais who played Suarto, the main villain. They showed resistance with their respective weapons and Suarto's attack sent Lee Christmas back.

"That's all you need to do?" asked Suarto sarcastically.

Directed by Scott Waugh, The Expendables 4 stars Statham, Fox, 50 Cent, Garcia, Lundgren, as well as Tony Jaa and Iko Uwais.

In 2016, Sylvester Stallone announced the fourth film to be the last part of this franchise. He even left production due to different points of view with the crew. Then he returned in 2018 after getting support from various players.

The shooting process has been carried out since two years ago in various cities such as London, Bulgaria, and Greece.
