Tronton Truck Accident In Semarang, 2 Dead-9 Injured

The Semarang Polrestabes Traffic Unit recorded that the number of victims in the tronton truck accident that hit a number of motorized vehicles and shophouses on Jalan Prof. Hamka, Semarang City, Central Java, reached 11 people, with two of whom died.

Semarang Police Traffic Head AKBP Yunaldi said the two victims who died were Rukoyah (41) from Semarang City and Anis Yuliana (30), a resident of Pati Regency.

"Two victims died from injuries to the head," Yunaldi said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 22.

The injured victims were treated in a number of hospitals, such as Permata Medika Hospital, Tugirejo Hospital, and Hermina Pandanaran Hospital.

Of the nine injured victims, two of them were the driver and kernet of the tronton truck.

Accidents on the route decreased on Jalan Prof. Hamka, Semarang City, involving 13 motorized vehicles, such as cars, trucks, and motorbikes.

It is suspected that the driver of the tronton truck with police number B 9674 KXS is suspected of not being vigilant.

"Later, the driver will be examined, currently under treatment," he added.
