JAKARTA - Ari Wibowo and Inge Anugrah's last mediation hearing took place at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) today, Monday, May 29. Mediation is known to have failed, where both parties agreed to continue the trial to the next stage.

"Today we have attended a mediation hearing. This is the second mediation that has been postponed for two weeks. Today the results remain the same, that there is no agreement to reconcile between the plaintiff and the defendant," said Riki Saragih as Ari Wibowo's attorney after the trial.

"In the end, the mediator also decided, because this is the last mediation trial in a mediation event, the case examination returns to the main examination, namely to the assembly," he continued.

Ari Wibowo said that the failure of mediation could be estimated previously. The reason is, the intention to divorce had been agreed from the start with his wife and children.

"Indeed, from the start, Inge and the children agreed to separate. So, from the beginning of this mediation, it was a formality that had to be held," said Ari.

"From the legal representative, Inge himself once said, if Ari doesn't sue, Inge will sue. We do have a mutual agreement to separate," he continued.

With the failure of mediation, Ari said that he would no longer be present at the trial. He handed over the entire process until a decision appears to his legal team.

For the next trial, said Riki, he is still waiting for the panel of judges to determine the schedule for the trial to be scheduled for the reading of the lawsuit.

"So, we will wait for his call to determine the day of the next trial. So, only until today's trial. The agenda is then to read the lawsuit, but we don't know when it will be postponed," concluded Riki Saragih, Ari Wibowo's attorney.
