JAKARTA - Ira Riswana, the former artist and mother of Maulana Malik Ibrahim, a young man who was involved in a traffic accident at Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta some time ago, responded to a statement by the victim's mother Muhammad Syamil Akbar at the National Police Headquarters last week.

The wife of the NTB Police official did not accept that she was called distorting the facts. Through the written rights received by VOI editors, Ira tried to clarify the news sourced from the victim's mother's statement.

"Regarding the statement from MS during the report at the National Police Headquarters Propam, I hereby Ira Riswana with all humility wants to give responsibility rights," wrote Ira Riswana in opening her right to answer.

"I speak not as a former artist and wife of a police officer, but as a mother of my son MMI," he continued.

Unlike what the victim's mother said that Malik ran away after colliding with the victim, Ira said that it was her child who took the victim to the hospital.

Ira said she had evidence in the form of proof of hospital payments. He also mentioned that it was his son who was first reported by the doctor regarding the victim's condition.

Regarding him who did not meet the victim's family, Ira said there were sensitive things that he did not want to open to the public.

"Say did not meet MS's family because there were sensitive things and I will report them to the Police Headquarters Propam and there are other things that I will report to the Police," he said.

At the end of his right to answer, Ira hopes that the accident involving his son can be resolved based on existing facts by handing everything over to the police investigators.
