JAKARTA - Celebrity Lina Mukherjee has recently become a hot topic of conversation on social media. Lina's content is considered by many people to have blasphemed Islam.

As is well known, Lina as a Muslim, in some of the content she creates often shows videos where she eats pork and dog meat that is forbidden in Islam.

Responding to the large amount of content on social media that was misunderstood by displaying content that caused controversy, Ustaz Zacky Mirza regretted what the content creators had done.

"In the digital world, social media, if we talk about good things and post for people to enjoy, people have new, new spiritual insights, fresh trust and faith, it becomes zariah charity," said Ustaz Zacky Mirza when met by the VOI team at Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta on Tuesday, March 20, 2023.

"But on the other hand, it's a shame if there are Muslims, it's something that was posted that went viral but so many people have cursed at that person," he continued.

If you expect to be seen by many people but have to sacrifice yourself to be ridiculed and sworn in, Ustaz Zacky thinks that these considerations should be reconsidered.

Like the brief life of a human being in this world, we as human should expect prayers from others, and not to be sworn in by others.

"The more people who pray, the more people who die will accompany them. But the more we are sworn in when we live, the more reluctant people will be when we accompany us (to the grave)," he said.

According to Ustaz Zacky, it would be a loss if someone deliberately did something that violates religious teachings. He said, good people even though they were only on social media, his kindness would never be lost even though he had died.

According to him, by making something that causes unrest in the community, not only in the hereafter, in the world will also feel what he calls the world's hell.

"Belinga kita boleh tidak peduli ( saat dijanji banyak orang), tapi bgamana dengan kehidupan kita di depan nanti ketika banyak diguhin dengan orang? Jadi saya buat konten-konten yang buat kita banyak digoain, kalau dijanjin pihak," tutur Ustaz Zacky Mirza.

"Obviously what is forbidden is haram. What is haram is clear, the halal is also clear. So what is clearly haram but as if it is halal, the business is not with us but with Allah," he concluded.
