Aespa Will Release Song For Taron Egerton Film, Tetris

JAKARTA - aespa will join as one of the soundtrack performers for the film Tetris. The film Music Reporter reported that aespa contributed a new song for the film.

The song titled Hold On Tight is the official soundtrack for the film Tetris. The plan, this song will be officially released on March 31.

The film Tetris is a true story of a legal battle to win the intellectual property rights of Tetris' game. The film stars Taron Egerton, Toby Jones, Nikita Yefremov, Roger Alam, Anthony Boyle, and others.

Apart from aespa, several musicians are reported to have participated in the soundtrack for the film Tetris such as Aaron Hibell, Pet Shop Boys, Europe, Metrophonic, LORDe Balfe, and many others.

Previously, SM Entertainment confirmed that aespa would release a new album in May. This will mark 10 months since Girls' release in July 2022.

SM Entertainment CEO Lee Sung Su had revealed that aespa was supposed to make a comeback in February this year. However, the plan was canceled due to an internal conflict between the SM Entertainment agency.

This year, aespa is busy with several stages on an international scale. They were confirmed to appear at the Governor's Ball on June 10 and Outside Lands in August in the United States.

On the other hand, the film Tetris will premiere in theaters on a limited basis starting March 24, but this film can be watched by all global audiences via Apple TV + starting March 31.
