Celebrate Birthday, Suga BTS Donates IDR 1.1 Billion For Turkey And Syria

JAKARTA - Suga BTS donated 100 million won or Rp. 1.1 billion for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. This donation was given through the Save The Children organization today, Thursday, March 9 as well as celebrating his 30th birthday.

"Suuga BTS berdonasi 100 juta won untuk Turki dan Syria atas dampak dari gempa bumi yang terjadi," kata pihak Save The Children melansir OSEN.

Through his statement, Suga hopes that his assistance can be a positive thing for the victims and those affected by the disaster.

Many children and families feel the loss of this earthquake. I am sorry to all the victims who are community," said Suga.

"I hope this assistance can be useful for the affected children and hopefully this donation will be used to provide aid for them," he continued.

Save The Children stated that the donations given by Suga would be used to buy necessities such as blankets, mattresses, and other equipment for areas hit by the earthquake.

This is not the first time Suga has donated on his birthday. Previously he had donated to fire victims, pediatric patients who had cancer in Keimyung, and COVID-19 assistance.

Meanwhile, Suga BTS is scheduled to hold a solo world tour for the first time. Indonesia is one of the destinations for the group's rapper's departure.

Suga will hold a concert for three days on May 26-28, 2023 at the BSD Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), Tangerang.
