JAKARTA - Peter Pan & Wendy's film will be broadcast exclusively on the Disney + Hotstar platform on April 28, 2023. This film is adapted from a novel by JM Barrier and a classic animated film in 1953.

Peter Pan & Wendy follows Wendy Darling's story, a girl who is afraid to leave her childhood home. One day, he meets Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up.

Together with his younger siblings and petite periodaries named total Bell, Wendy and Peter also ventured into a magical world, haphazard.

In that world, Wendy meets the captain of an evil pirate named Captain Hook. He embarks on a tense and dangerous adventure, which will change his life forever.

On Wednesday, a video clip or teaser trailer for Peter Pan & Wendy has been released and can be watched on the Disney + Hotstar YouTube channel.

Director David Lowery said his party decided to create a film that respects the original novel by JM Barrie and the adaptation of an animated film made by Walt Disney.

"We want to make this new film live with real emotions, an open heart, and a great desire for adventure," Lowery said as quoted by ANTARA, March 2.

Hundreds of great artists spent years bringing the work into a film, according to Lowery. Therefore, he was very enthusiastic because the audience could witness the hard work of the production team and return to witness the eternal story from a new point of view.

The film stars Jude Law, Alexander Molony, Ever Anderson, Yara Shahidi, Alyssa Wapakatraphk, Joshua Pickering, to Jim Gaffigan.
