JAKARTA - The stop-motion animated series about Pokémon is titled Pokémon Concierge and will soon air on Netflix. The Pokémon Concierge was developed by Dwarf Studios by taking on a storyline that is an extension of the Pokémon world franchise.
The new series follows Haru's story, a steward at the Pokémon Resort. The character will interact with Pokémon and its owners who come as guests.
"Netflix can't wait to make fans in Japan and around the world happy by presenting Pokémon Concierge', a fully new visual and storytelling experience featuring a set of stop-motion animations full of breakthroughs in the world of Pokémon in a close collaboration with The Pokémon Company," Netflix vice president of Content at Asia Minyoung Kim said in a media statement, Monday, February 27.
In collaboration with The Pokémon Company, Netflix also released a video clip of the official Pokémon Concierge teaser. The announcement coincided with Pokémon Day or 17 years since the premiere of the Pokémon game.
Previously, Netflix had also shown films and series related to Pokémon such as Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back (2019), Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle (2021), Pokémon Journeys: The Series (2021), and beyond.
