Long Eliminating From Entertainment, Romy Rafael Chooses To Be A YouTuber To Show Hypnomical Capabilities

JAKARTA - Romy Rafael is known as a mentalist who is known for his ability to hypnotized people. He has also appeared on the small screen since 2006, especially in magic-themed programs.

No longer appearing on television programs, Romy is still consistently displaying his abilities through the YouTube channel he manages. He did not consider it a decline, but a way to keep up with the changing times.

"Actually (YouTube) is just a platform, yes, the end is to convey massage. If it doesn't evolve or change, it's left behind. So it's actually just for the platform," said Romy Rafael at Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

Working to get the gold play button from YouTube, Romy hopes that the content will not only be entertaining, but can also provide lessons for his audience.

"Now it's just a silver play button, it's still creative to be the goal end. Gold used to be a diamond play button. All my content is not cold content, it's not gossip content or anything, but rather to the mind, there's something wrong with it," he said.

In addition to actively creating content on his YouTube channel, Romy also often uses his compressive abilities to therapy people who have mental problems.

"The last project I ran was wellness center, to overcome it like depression, stress, phobia, addiction, and so on. That's what I've been developing until now," he concluded.
