Inspired By The Last Of Us, Plot I Am Legend 2 Different From The First Film

JAKARTA - The film I Am Legend will have a sequel to a different story. Akiva Goldsman as the producer and sequel author shared a leak from the film I Am Legend 2 starring Will Smith.

It will start decades earlier than the first. I am obsessed with The Last of Us where we are looking at the world after post-auguration but also 20-30 years from time to time," Akiva Goldman told Deadline.

I Am Legend is a 2007 film that tells the story of Robert Neville, a scientist who defends himself in the city of death from zombie attacks. Robert and his dog, Sam survive by hunting down animals alone.

Robert Neville tried to avoid a creature called Darkseer, a figure who contracted the Kipprin virus. The virus that was originally a vaccine turned out to be an attack on humans.

This film became a conversation when the COVID-19 pandemic circulated in 2020. At that time, the public considered the film I Am Legend as if predicting the pandemic situation in that year.

Will Smith is confirmed to star Robert Neville after a decade. In addition, Michael B. Jordan will also join as a new player. Both have also leaked a bit of the sequel production in 2022.
