TANGERANG - The Regional Puteri Indonesia (PPID) election was held again by looking directly for 8 cities/regencies representing Banten Province for Puteri Indonesia in 2023.

Kathy explained that in looking for these talented women, the Puteri Indonesia Foundation through Talent School Management, looked directly for each area in Banten Province. Starting from the ends of Lebak, Pandeglang, Cilegon, Serang City and Regency, Tangerang City, Tangerang Regency to South Tangerang City.

Katu also said that there were 35 participants who auditioned for PPID from various regions, until finally, after going through a fairly strict selection stage, 10 finalists were selected to participate in the quarantine process and the selection of the top three participants in the grand final on Saturday, January 28.

During quarantine, they are provided with various knowledge and debriefing. Starting from knowledge about tourism in Banten Province from the local Tourism Office, then general knowledge, modeling, public speaking, and others.

"Later, from the top 10, the top five were selected in the top three, then 1 winner came out who will represent Banten Province as the finalist for Puteri Indonesia," said Kathy.

With this strict selection, Kathy hopes that the representatives of Banten Province can bring and introduce this Land of Java to the national and even international arena.

"This time, our theme is Kilau Pesona Tanah Jawara, we hope that this finalist will be able to compete optimally, we also provide it with public speaking and other skills, so that they can become attractive representatives of Banten," he said.
