Obstacle To Becoming Toxic, Ganindra Bimo Assisted By Sheila Dara's Acting

JAKARTA - Ganindra Bimo expressed his pride at being able to play the character Jem in the film Jalan yang Jauh, Don't forget to go home (JJJLP). For Andrea Dian's husband, the experience of acting in this film is one of the best experiences in his career

In the JJJLP film directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko, Bimo has a toxic relationship with Sheila Dara Aisyah who plays the character Aurora.

"The best experience, because it's not only toxic, but also a lot of positive things that I can take. The team's cooperation is solid, cooperation with other friends is also solid, especially with Sheila, because I have many scenes with Sheila," said Ganindra Bimo after the press conference in the Setiabudi area, South Jakarta, Thursday, January 26.

Praise his co-star, Sheila Dara, Bimo finds it difficult to play the character Jem. "So toxic and making playing comfortable is actually really difficult, but fortunately with Sheila can afford it. I'm really happy," he said.

Talking about toxic relationships, Bimo admitted that he did not know the term before. With access to broad information that is mainly owned by Gen Z, the emergence of the term toxic relationship is seen by Bimo as the ability of young people to see relationships that should be able to run better and in a healthy way.

Claiming to have never had a toxic relationship before, Bimo felt that he learned something new from his role in JJJLP. "When I got the opportunity to play a toxic character, indirectly when I played it I had a feeling like 'wah like this, it feels toxic'," he said.

Seeing the many toxic relationships, especially among young people, Bimo hopes that the story of Jem and Aurora can be a lesson for the audience. "Hopefully with this film you can know how to get out of toxic relationship," he said.

"Friends who watch hopefully I can feel how to get out of a relationship like this. Because toxic sometimes because you don't have a exit, there are only entrances and feel afraid to leave," he concluded.
