JAKARTA - Vocalist and frontman of rock alternative music group from Summerlin, Las Vegas, Panic! At The Disco (P!ATD),rendon Urie, announced shocking news that the band will soon disband after their summer tour.

The announcement appeared on P!ATD's official Instagram page on Tuesday local time. In the upload, Urie explained that he would focus on his family. Currently, Urie is in the process of becoming a father and is looking forward to the birth of his baby.

"I will end this part of life and focus my energy on the family. There will be no more Panic! at The Disco," wroterendon Urie, the band's only original since it first formed in 2004 until now, citing Antara.

Furthermore, Urie wrote that many invaluable experiences during his career under the name P!ATD. However, sometimes a journey must be ended to start another adventure.

"Thank you for your incredible support over the years and I haven't found the right words to express how meaningful it is. Whether you guys have been with us since the start or just, but are really happy to be able to share the stage and time with you. I look forward to meeting you all in Europe and the UK for the last time," wrote Urie.

Initially, P!ATD was a USAdon Urie solo project which then invited three childhood friends, namely Ryan Ross (guitar), Spencer Smith (drums), and Brent Wilson (bass) in 2004. Often doing dismantling personnel, a band that has hits like Time to Dance, Death of a Bachelor, I Write Sins Not Tragedys, High Hopes, and Nine in The Afternoonini is indeed synonymous as an idealist project. Together with P!ATD, Urie has released seven albums.

One of the band's highest achievements inspired by The Beatles, The Zombies and Beach Boys was when their fifth album Death of Bachelor was nominated for the 2017 Grammy Awards for the best rock album category.

Referring to the band's official website, P!ATD's summer tour of the last album Viva Las Vengeance in Europe will end in Paris on March 1. As for UK, the city of Manchester will be the band's last stop on March 10, 2023.
