JAKARTA - Netflix presents the latest Indonesian film titled Dear David. After Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens, Lucky Kuswandi again presented a coming of age story in a newly released teaser.

The one-minute teaser Dear David tells the story of Laras (Shenina Cinnamon) who is an outstanding student. Behind his achievements, Laras also manages a blog containing his fantasy about David (Emir Mahira).

David is the school star that Laras likes. Laras' fantasy is contained in his personal blog which he often opens at school.

One time Laras forgot to really get out of the blog site. As a result, the fantasy blog spread and became known to the school until it reached David's ears.

Laras is also in the midst of confusion about his fantasy and blog which his school friends read.

This is Shenina's latest acting project after the Cross The Line. He also received a positive response when he got the lead in the film Copying Light. Meanwhile, Emir Mahira last greeted the audience with "You deserve to Die."

Besides the two, Dear David also starred in Caitlin North Lewis. Jenny Zhang is also seen playing the role of principal. On the other hand, Dear David raised teenage love stories and explored various topics that are close to their lives, from friendship, intricacies on social media, school institutions, self-embedding, to attempts to accept themselves.

The film Dear David will be released on Netflix starting February 9, 2023.
